Ok, so it's not the best poem out there, but it's one of my favorites of the ones I've written

Royalty
The king
is my father
he rules over the earth
with the palm of his hand
all those who believe in him
are his children
either his prince or his princess
children of the king
I am his princess
his favorite one
although he has no favorites
because he loves all of his kids
he is my father
my lover
my friend
I want to love him back
but I feel like all teens feel
like their father is an idiot
doesn't know the best for them
but he is my father
royalty is in my blood
whether I like it or not
