Traveler:
A person who travels from place place on a journey.
Flames lapped at her heels of her bare feet as she raced to get away from the destruction. Her labored breaths were lost amongst the cries of terror and grief as blood drenched the ground. Tears stung as her eyes blurred in her flurry of emotions and adrenaline. The snow was mixing with the ash and smoke, melting almost instantly as it fell to earth. Foreign soldiers grabbed at innocent Illéans as many made an attempt to escape. And yet she was hidden from their cruel eyes as chaos reigned.
This was wrong. It was all wrong.
How could this be possible?
This wasn't how Illéa was supposed to fall.
Something went wrong.
Looking over her shoulder, the young woman bit her lip. The metallic taste of blood harden her resolve and she faced the lake.
"This isn't how our fate is meant to play out," she breathed, eyes locked on the still surface. "They will never have me."
Reaching into her pocket, she grasped at a pocket watch. It was her precious memento from him. Bring it to her chest, she crept back before running full tilt towards the lake. Her feet left the ground as she jumped and plunged into the icy lake. Water engulfed her, the black gown twisting around her legs as she kicked and fought to keep her breath. Her eyes closed as she sank further into the lake, strength began to leave her. Fingers clenched around the watch as the sound of its ticks began to sync with her heartbeat.
And then she released her breath, bubbles rising to the surface.

Hi. I'm Gale. And sorry if the prologue was short. I intended it to be. ;)
This is an SYOC and there will be 8 Main spots available. I will be accepting minor character submissions that are basically cannon fodder in the best possible wayside a Selected or a way to help the Mains if a maid, guard, butler, etc. There are three main females who will be pushing this story forward. First is Clarion Yarrow, a gardener filling in for the princess unwillingly. Next is Princess Helena Schreave who decides to run because *SPOILERS*. And finally is Nebula Williams, the princess's and Clairon's maid who doubles as a bodyguard.
I'll be taking some foreign Royals and you can PM me if interested. They'll play an important role.
There will be mini blurbs about characters on my profile and the form will be there as well. Rules will be there as well.
