A Far Off Land

I once dreamed of a far off place

A land where I was free from my own home's brace

Where the ocean shines like diamonds

Where I can watch the world from the highlands

Fairies would fly from the trees

While I would fly above the breeze

Then on a boat I would see the pirates

The mischievous sailors with their stolen jewels and bracelets

Mermaids and Indians would surround the sand

Their calls to one another sounding like a marching band

And a boy tells me something grand

This place is called Neverland

This isn't what I would call my best poem but you be the judge.
