Obsidian Knowledge - TheManBehind-TheJokersMask

"Have you ever seen eyes so dark and deep?" One woman whispered loudly.

"I know, they penetrate you without even trying." Another giggled.

"I'm envious of any woman who's with him."

I barely held back my snort, shifting away from the gossiping females. I knew he was waiting for me but I just can't resist just LOOKING at him.

They were right about one thing though. His eyes are the darkest set of obsidian orbs I have ever seen.

His eyes can penetrate anything with just one look. They're deep and guarded. Within their depths holds so much hurt, pain, sorrow, love. Oh yes they held a great deal of love, but few saw that love.

He'd seen just about every look Wufei could ever use. Love. Hate. Anger. Sorrow. Painful looks, hurt looks and he'd even seen them haunted and full of tears on some nights when the nightmares got bad.

But behind all that, there was a great deal of passion and knowledge in them. So much knowledge. Wufei seemed to know everything there was to know about him. With only a look and well measured time, he'd learned everything there was to know. How he hid things from the rest of the world, he could never hide from Wufei. No. His penetrating eyes knew everything there was to know.

When he was on the verge of breaking, when he was on the verge of snapping. Everything. They held some much knowledge for someone so young. Only eighteen and he'd learned so much, a natural scholar. His little dragon was simply amazing and he'd never ceased to amaze him with just how much knowledge he held.

His lips quirked when those eyes finally seemed to notice him leaning against one of the pillars in the shuttle port.

The dark obsidian orbs gleamed with anger first then with something only few had the privilege to see.

"Wufei." I whispered, arms reaching out for the young man. He stepped closer and let the duffle drop to the floor by my feet with a sigh.

"Zechs." He murmured into my shoulder as I wrapped him in my arms tightly.

I took a deep breath and brushed a light kiss over the exposed skin of his neck. "I love you."

He moaned and pressed closer before pulling back, taking one of my hands in his and tugging me from the pillar. My other hand grasped his bag strap, hefting it up.

The whispers flying behind me became white noise in my ears when Wufei looked back over his shoulder, love and knowledge shinning in his obsidian orbs. He knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it right now.

The damn man knew too much for his own good. Far too much.
