Alright, this little gem was inspired after the awesomeness that was Glee Live, and the Klaine skit. I wasn't at this show, I was at the night before this one where Kurt revealed that he was an exotic dancer, but this one really got me thinking fic wise, but once again, I couldn't quite fit it in. (Pardon the pun)
"Yeah no no honey, stick to Katy Perry and Pink. We'll leave the rest to Finn."
The lights faded and Finn appeared on stage, belting out the lyrics to "Jessie's Girl" while Darren made his way off stage, leaving Chris to, once again, scooch off the stage.
It was all for the fun of it though, Darren would love to help Chris off the stage every single night and skip off the stage together, but no way was he letting Chris crack him. Instead, he waited behind the curtain for Chris to catch up so they could walk back to the dressing rooms together.
Chris passed behind the curtain and grinned at Darren. "You won't admit it, but I totally almost had you that time."
Darren laughed. "Did not."
Chris nodded. "Yes I did! I could see it in your eyes. The second I said "deepest" you got this little gleam in your eyes."
"There was no gleam!"
"There was a gleam. I could tell exactly what you were thinking." They got to the dressing room and walked inside, closing the door behind them. By this point in the tour, they knew Chris had exactly 11 minutes to change, stretch and get himself to Stage B. Darren normally stretched with him, just so he'd have someone to keep him company. Which meant they always got the dressing room to themselves for this tiny chunk of time.
Darren reached for his wonderful orange pants and changed into them. The started their regular stretching routine. Legs, arms, torso. Nothing too extravigant.
Chris glanced at the clock. "Well, time to go dance like Ontario."
Darren nodded. "Kinda wish I could have a front row seat for that."
Chris smiled. "Admit there was a gleam and that could be arranged."
Darren smiled, closing the distance between them and wrapping his arms around Chris' waist. "There was a gleam, but it wasn't an "I'm gonna crack" gleam."
"Oh really? What kind was it then?"
Darren smiled. "It was an "oh my god, think of something other than Chris fucking you deeper because there are children in the audience" gleam."
Chris grinned. "Ah, is that what that look was. Well then, I guess I'll have to show you some more of Ontario's moves later to make up for the potential awkwardness that could have...erupted on stage."
Darren kissed him gently. "Its a date. Now go shake that money maker."
Chris pulled away. "I'm gonna try to forget you said that."
Really short outtake, but meh. It was written, and yeah.
