Afternoon Baking
Noire thought that it would be a good idea to go and visit Blanc after what had happened with Rom and Ram. Plus, she could try out the new cookies that they had released which were very popular among Lowee's residents. The wagon was as gentle as usual going over the cobbled stones of Lowee while the snow fell equally as gently. Noire could understand why Lowee was known as the fairy tale landmass, with such delightful views to be seen whichever direction you looked. She found it refreshing after spending so long in Lastation, even with its leisure garden.
The wagon rolled steadily up the hill towards Blanc's home, the gates soundlessly swinging open, letting the wagon pass through. Upon asking for Blanc's whereabouts, Noire headed to the private kitchen, where the goddesses could go if they wanted some privacy while cooking something. Noire found the petite goddess rolling out quite a large amount of dough. Blanc turned upon seeing Lastation's CPU and greeted her in the usual manner.
"Ah, Noire, I didn't anticipate you coming today." Blanc's voice was typically one-tone, as though she had no opinion, but that wasn't the case.
"I thought I'd drop in after the kidnapping business with your sisters," Noire pointed to the dough "and to try some of your popular cookies!" Noire smiled brightly while she said this.
"Well, I was hoping to keep this secret, but all this dough it for a party I'm planning." Blanc's face remained stoic as she spoke.
"A party? That's unusual for you." Noire put one hand on her hip.
"Well, I thought about what Neptune had said, and think it's a good way to strengthen the bonds between countries. Wouldn't you agree?" Blanc's eyes looked into Noire's.
"Definitely. Although she can be a bit too much sometimes, I can't deny that she has good intentions in her heart." Noire maintained eye contact. The way she looks up to you from below is kind of...
"Because you're here and you know what I'm doing, would you like to help me with the rest of these cookies? There is a lot of dough here." Noire's thought was broken off by Blanc.
"Um... Yes. With the amount of dough here, it looks like you need help with the rest of it." Noire had taken a moment to respond, as if in thought beforehand. Blanc wondered, had her cheeks turned a very faint shade of red? Or had she just thought she saw that?
The two CPU's proceeded to spend the morning cutting out the dough into the shapes Blanc requested, and fitting them onto the tray with adequate room in-between. Idle chit chat about various topics was exchanged in the meantime. After 2 hours or so, all of the cookies were cooling down, and the two goddesses sat on chairs outside, watching the snow fall serenely.
"You know Noire, there's something I've wanted to tell you for a long time." Blanc broke the silence lightly.
"Oh?" Noire raised an eyebrow, but still blushed lightly upon hearing Blanc.
"I've been having feelings about you recently." The small goddess had turned away from her shyly while she said this, but turned towards her with determination in her eye. Her face was a bright red. Noire did her best to contain her surprise, but found herself turning red as well.
"Well, I suppose... I suppose I can't deny that I feel the same way about you." The CPU smiled timidly while looking into Blanc's eyes.
"Noire, I... I..." She trailed off and embraced Noire deeply, while she did the same. Resting her head on the black haired girl's breasts, the two looked into each other's eyes and enjoyed the moment.
