AN: This is a story I wrote after reading eclipse for the first time when it came out. I have not done alot of changes. English is not my first language and I apologize for any spelling mistakes and would appreciate correction, thank you. Enjoy your reading.
Suprise. surise!
It was Edwards birthday in two days and I did not have a clue as to what to give him. I mean what do you give your vampire fiance on his 106 birthday? Who had everything he need and more. I want to give him something that actually have a meaning, something that shows him that he is important, very much loved and are a real good man, well vampire. That he is mine, and that I love him with all my heart.
He loves music. Acts like a gentleman...born in 1901 " died " in 1918...Suddenly Alice is standing in front of me. " Hi Bella! Edward is going to love it! What is 'it' I thought . "What?". "I am here to help you set it up while he is out hunting with the rest of the family." she said with a smile on her face and pulled me down to a sitting position on my bed.
"Well, Alice, what is this idea of yours?" Alice smirked and jumped beside me. "We are decorating the Victorian house in it `s time, well his room, and you will dress up in a beautiful dress form 1918. And then we will leave him some clothes that he have to wear to get in the house." she beamed. WOW! "It sounds perfect for him." I am sure I grinned like a fool. Alice grinned back at me. " Well lets get started. " and so it went.
I am in Edwards room, there is a black king sized bed, two antic chair with a coffee table. The room are filed with candles. Edward should be here soon. God, I am nervous. "What if he does not like it, Alice?" I asked her for the ninth time, and looked at my dress " Calm down, Bella. He is gonna love it. He will be here in five minutes." she kissed my cheek and left with a wink and "Have fun, lovebirds". I sat down and looked at the door. I took a deep breath and listen to the music. The door opened and a handsome Edward came in. He gasped and his eyes widened as he took in the room. Slowly he rested his eyes on me, he drew a long breath and smiled.
"Happy Birthday, Handsome." I said with a love filed smile and stood up. He walked up to me with a crooked grin. He took my left hand and kissed my ring followed by my palm. His lovely golden eyes meet my chocolate brown ones. "May I have this dance, my love?" he said in his smooth velvet voice. "Yes" I whispered, lost in his golden eyes. We danced to the music lost in each others eyes. His eyes are full of love, adoration and something else that I can`t describe. "Thank you, Bella. This is the best present I have ever received". "You're welcome. But I have another gift for you."
I could not contain my grin as I looked at him. We had stooped dancing while we were talking, he still had his arm around me. He gave me a sweet kiss. "And what might that be, my love?" "Give me a second and I `ll go get it" I smiled, and he dropped his hands, grinning like a fool. I went to my bag and took out the gift. I turned around and he stood right in front of me with a cheesy smile. I laughed at him. "What? I'm exited. May I please have my gift?" he pleaded. "Mmmhhhh...well, if I get a kiss I m..." his lips was on mine before I could finish. He kissed me until I had to breathe. I gave him the gift and he started to wrap up the paper. He looked at the midnight blue book and opened it. On the first page was a picture of him that I had taken in the meadow. He looked through the book with lots of pictures of him, me and some of the family. I looked at his face the whole time, and I'm sure that if he was human he would have cried. "Bella" he mumbled "I...This is the most amazing gift I have ever received...Thank you, my love. " He cupped my cheek and pulled me into a passionate kiss. " I love you "
