What is Destiny?

I wrote this poem when i was thinking about what poor link must feel like every time someone tells him he has to go save the world again. i mean i would be like pised off

What is destiny?

They say I have a destiny

But how could they know that?

They say I was born to do it

But how can you be born to do something if you didn't know you were going to be born?

They tell me all these bizarre thoughts they have for me

They tell me to save the world

They tell me I'm the savior

Is that truly a destiny?

Or is that the ranting of a crazy man

What is a destiny truly?

Is it something you were born to do?

Or something they tell you to do?

What's the difference?

Is there really?

Can someone even have a destiny?

If we're all supposed to be able to cut our own way through life

Then is that still true?

Well I say there lying

There can never be a destiny without us first being able to cut our own paths

So can you then have one and not the other?

When will we get the answers we seek?

If you then say that you find your destiny

Then how would you know what it was?

I say the only destiny anyone can be clear on is that we will all die someday

So can there still be a destiny?

I wish I new
