Author's Note: Just a little Mr. Bennet fluff because it's been a long time coming.
A Father's Heart.
There were times that Mr. Bennet's heart broke because of his daughters.
The first was while watching his youngest grow up after the heartache that threatened to break her down.
The second was while watching Jane deal with her heartache silently as she tried to be strong for her family.
The third was while watching Lizzie's videos and seeing the man that would later steal her away work his way into her heart.
Three times his father's heart ached...
The first because he failed to protect her.
The second because he couldn't stop her from growing up.
The third because someone else was watching over her now.
