AN: Didn't mean to write a extra to Identity Crisis. Consider this a spiritual sequel. I tried to improve my grammar, Bombing. Still not as good as my sister, DB, though.
"Good to be back home again." Evan said, looking on to the farmhouse that is in front of him. He approached it, smiling, with his dragon, Mir, just behind, following him.
Evan knocked on the door, twice. The door opened, only to show who else but his brother, Utah.
"Oh! You're the famous dragon master, Evan! You're from Leafre, right? Come in and take a seat. I believe you dragon won't mind being outside for the time being."
Evan's grin was wiped off as soon he heard what his brother had to say for greeting him. It sounded as if Utah was unable to recognise him anymore, and was only able to recognise him through the media. Evan looked around the house. Everything seemed to be changed to fit a smaller family of three rather than four, from the couch to the dinnerware, from the wallpaper to the television. Out of curiosity, he looked for any photograph of four - the only proof remaining that he had existed on the farm.
"Stop standing at the doorway and come in!" Utah invited. "I hope you can tell me about your adventures! What are you looking at anyway? Oh! That photograph..."
Evan kept on looking at the photograph. The partially aged photo brought him memories of this place, although, not many of it.
Utah sighed. "That was my younger brother, Evan. Funny how he has the same name as you. It was completely my fault that he ran away from home. I had always teased him, specifically about his own eye colour. After all, how did he manage to have blue eyes when the rest of the family has green eyes? Besides, he never belonged that much into the family anyway. He always seemed to be reading, quietly observing us as we worked and toiled on the farm. I always bullied him, saying that he was lazy and weak. That day when he left, I had punched him and even made him do some of my own chores. After that, he went off tell Chief Stan about us not being able to supply pork to Henesys. Ever since, nobody has ever since saw or even heard about Evan anymore. Word got out that he was last seen with a dragon. Guess the dragon was still hostile and killed him. Ever since, nobody has seen or heard from Evan. Although, we always seemed to receive letters from him. It's probably just somebody trying their best not to make us worry." Utah eventually trailed off. With a sudden change in tone, he said: "Would you like to stay for a meal?"
Evan shook his head.
"No? Okay. Bye then."
Evan opened the door. "Bye, Utah."
Utah smiled. "You read the tag on my clothes, huh? Evan sewn them on for me. I never seemed to be good at things in the house as compared to on the farm. Good luck with your adventures!"
Utah had not seen the tears that Evan had cried as Evan walked away, silently.
Prompt: Perfect to a point that I feel sad. - Taken from Underdog Supremacist
As usual, grade me as hard as you wish. I am very sure somebody will find at least 1 grammar or spelling error. Maybe even punctuation.
