Loki's POV: She's all grown up. It's been fifteen years. She changed quite a lot. But her affection towards me didn't change at all. My lovely daughter who worries about me. Even at this moment... I'm not sure if I can do the same towards her. I'm at risk. Someone tricked me. I don't know who, but whoever it was, it must be a great trickster. Betraying me in such way. But, I have the feeling things might end horribly... even more horrible for Rei.

3rd Person View:

Rei (Reia) Laufeyson, daughter of the demi-god (half-Bifrost) Loki, decides to talk to her father. He's starting acting reserved, too quiet and very careless. It was a very strange behavior coming out from her beloved father. She wanted to know why. And soon.

"Dad..? May I come in..?" She asked shyly, since the door was locked and Loki disliked people who barged inside his room without asking, even for Rei.

"Come in..." he quietly replied. She came in anxious. Her hazel eyes were looking downwards, she was slightly afraid.

"What is it that you want, Rei?" He kindly asked.

"... Dad... I want to know... the reason you're keeping distance with me." She finally said the words she wanted to say.

Silince took over the room. Loki wanted to tell about his situation, but he was too scared to do so. He started picking the right words, so it wouldn't hurt her too much.

"You see... someone blamed me for something I didn't do..." he said sadly. "I'm very sorry you had to see me this way."

"Dad... tell me everything, even if it hurts." She firmly said. Amazed, Loki thought about that for a while, then he started saying: "There's going to be a war soon... all because some coward blamed something I didn't do... Even all Asgard believes this."

Rei stood there. Motionless. Silent. She walked closer to her father in misery, and crouched so she could see him by the eyes. Sparkling, bright, and beautiful hazel eyes invaded the sights of Loki.

Rei smiled gently, saying: "Even if the whole world is against you... you can ALWAYS rely on me. Someday, all of this might end! There's no need to worry!" She happily stated, trying to cheer her father. 'Ah, that smile... the only thing that makes me feel light on worse times.' He instantly thought. He stood up and took a deep breath. "You might be right, Rei. Thank you." He told her holding her hand tightly. She soon hugged him. A sudden embrace, it felt warm for the duo. But little she knew that the war might cost her father's life.
