A/N: I know it's not the best but its my first fanfic. Any and all reviews will help me become a better writer.

Korra pulled the trench coat out of Naga's travel pouch and placed it on her shoulders. She didn't like the tight feeling; she liked having loose clothing so that she could bend to her greatest advantage. Mako stepped out of the shadows that hid him whilst he was changing. Korra's breath caught in her throat, he was even more attractive without the pro-bending armor on. But there was something off; she couldn't put her finger on it. Her traveled down to his hands, in them was his trademark scarf, the scarf that his father gave him before he was murdered.

"I think you'd better wear this, or they might recognize me."

She hesitantly took it, afraid that he will rip it from her hands again.

"I promise I will take care of it Mako."

Mako nodded, he trusted her even more than his own brother. He has only known her for a short while but his trust in her grew everyday. Mako was brought back to reality when he felt Korra's arms around his neck, without a second thought he placed his own arms around her. When she pulled away he thought he saw her blushing but couldn't make sure in the limited light.

"You coming city boy?'"

Mako smiled to himself, he could get used to Korra's arms around his neck.
