Jakes P.O.V.
I was in the garage working on Nessie's car. Her little brother called her to come and pick him up, but she couldn't get her car to start. I heard her dad's Volvo pull into the driveway, and her little brother came to the garage through the kitchen. I could hear Nessie screaming at her phone and I knew she wanted to bang it on the counter. I said, " Babe, I can't fix that," then she stopped and looked at me and we both laughed at the same time. Ryan, (Nessie's little brother) was in the garage standing by the key hook, he looked worried about something; he sat down on the bench, and said, " Jake, can I ask you something?" "You can, but you have the risk of someone overhearing our conversation." He said, "I know, but your touchy on this subject, considering your married to my sister and all." I scooted out from under Nessie's car, grabbed my oil rag, and said, " Ok spill the beans little dude," and he just sat there, so I got up to check the oil and he blurted out, " I have a crush on this girl, but every time I try to talk to her, nothing comes out." Wow was my first thought, then out of nowhere, I just said, " So talk to her with your eyes closed and if that doesn't work than I don't know what to tell you, dude." He just went inside, as I was happy to have gotten Nessie's car to start, as I did I heard Emmett laughing as the coffee table broke, and then Emmett said something dirty and then a door slammed.
