The best day she ever had.

Ginny was ecstatic, she just had probably the best day of her life, Gryffindor had, with her help, retained the Quidditch cup for the 3rd year in a row. And then Harry Potter the boy she had fancied since she saw him on the platform 6 years ago, and even more after saving her from the Chamber of Secrets in her first year kissed her.

The Gryffindor quidditch squad were preparing for the final game of the season against Hufflepuff, which they were not only favourites for the match thanks to Harry, one of the best seekers in Hogwarts history, and Captain, but they were also favourites for the Quidditch Cup again. "Right team all we have to do is win this match, and the cup will be ours, try not to let them distract you. Now go out there and just play your best". As the team walked out onto the pitch the noise was defining.

"Captains shake hands" said Madame hootch, "Now I want a nice clean game, from all of you.", then all the players ascended as Madame hootch released the bludgers, followed by the snitch, and then the quaffle, which got the game underway, Gryffindor gathered the quaffle first with Dennis Creevey heading for the posts, then, just before shooting, he fluked to Katie Bell, who shot straight through the middle hoop, to make the score 30-0. Meanwhile Harry was gliding around looking for the snitch and being followed by the Hufflepuff seeker, and decided it was time to shake him loose, so he went into a vertical dive, pretending that he had seen the snitch, and pulled off a perfect wasnaki feint, and, upon hearing a sicking crunch behind him, he knew that the plan had worked, when he saw a glint of gold to his right, just out of reach was his main objective, he swang right stretch out and closed his fist around the little fluttering ball. Whilst all of that happened, the score became 90-40 Gryffindor meaning the match ended 240-40.

Harry landed and was immediately surrounded by his team who all wanted to congraduate him. Then Madame hatch came through with professor Dumbedore who presented harry with the Quidditch Cup. Harry them proceed to hoist the cup above his head.

The common room was abuzz with activity that night in the after party, Seamus managed to smuggle some butterbeer in. Ginny was in the corner celebrating with her friends, Harry was playing chess against her brother Ron who added the condition the loser has to kiss the girl that they fancy. No one ever beat Ron at chess and it didn't look like happening tonight, Harry had his king, queen a knight a bishop and two paws left, and they weren't happy.

Not five moves later Ron declared checkmate and reminded Harry of the conditions of losing, a decision Ron soon regretted as Harry walked up to Ginny and, in front of the entire Gryffindor house, kissed her full on the lips.

What happened next went so fast that everyone almost missed it. Ron launched himself across the room and started to pound his best mate in the face shouting stay away from my sister, Potter, closely followed by Ron receiving a supercharged bat-bogey hex from a now very pissed off Ginny, who then preceded to snog harry some more just to annoy Ron, and then took Harry to Madame Pomphrey in the infirmary who informed Professors Dumbedore, who was the headmaster and McGonagall who was the Gryffindor head of house. Run got detention with filch every night for the remainder of term and 200 house points deducted, which did not make him popular with his house mates.

It was a bit f a sour ending to the best day Ginny had ever had, but it was still extra special to her
