No More Marauders

By: sprinkledwithpearls

A/N: We all know the old nursery rhyme "Five Little Monkeys". I have taken this rhyme and changed it up to fit the four marauders, and how they came to be "no more".

Four little monkeys jumping on the bed.
One fell off and bumped his head.
Called the doctor and the doctor said,
"No more monkeys jumping on the bed."
No more monkeys jumping on the bed.

Four grown-up Marauders in times of war.
Prongs has a baby and things are in uproar.
An evil man bursts through the front door,
No more Daddy for Harry to adore.
Three Marauders remain, Prongs is no more.

Three Marauders left, one's followed a bad trail.
Padfoot fights for his godson, not able to curtail.
His cousin curses him and he's swallowed by a veil,
No more godfather, he's dead as a doornail.
Two Marauders remain; Padfoot's gone, head to tail.

Two living Marauders hate each other as they should.
Wormtail must kill Harry like a good servant would.
The silver hand grasps his own neck, he'd stop it if he could,
No more traitor after years of falsehood.
One Marauder remains and Wormtail's gone for good.

One Marauder's alive but the battle's just begun.
Moony fights with others for Prongs' only son.
Dolohov sends a curse and Moony can't run,
No more werewolf, his magic's been outdone.
The last Marauder's gone and the war has just been won.

Now there are no Marauders, their time's come to an end.
Left behind are broken hearts, never to mend.
But sometimes Harry still likes to pretend,
That three courageous Marauders never did descend.

A/N: I hope I did the Marauders justice. I love getting reviews. Thanks so much for reading!
