"Endymion…come dance with me," she said smiling as she looked to the sky…the starlight hitting her face just right. Although her face was always blurry, he knew it was beautiful and breathtaking.
"But there is no music my Princess," he replied taking her hand.
"Who needs music to dance?" she asked pulling her hand away from his and she then began twirling around…
He awoke to his alarm clock. He had dreamed about her again…Who was she? Where was she? Why did she come to him in his dreams? Why did it mean so much to him?
Always in his dreams…never in reality…always after midnight…never before…never after…she came to him…
He considered it to be pure torture…the only time they could be together was in his dreams. If only he knew where to look in the daytime he could find her…but he knew she would always be there at the stroke of midnight…his secret heavenly vision…the love he had come to know only through his sub consciousness…Her long silvery hair, the soft ivory silk of her gown, the stars shining above them…
Dancing in the gardens so very long ago...She was here somewhere, he could feel it.
He hoped one day to find her outside…hoped to take her by the hand and lead her into the sunlight…hoped to kiss her for real…hoped to really touch her…
But until then it would only be as he slept, after midnight…she would come to him, his heavenly vision…his princess.
