Reno freezes, hearing a high-pitched laugh.

I hear a voice say "Don't be so blind"
it's telling me all these things
that you would probably hide

The Turk stops, glancing in the direction of the silver-haired remnant. Kadaj doesn't seem to see him. Or acknowledge him.

Kadaj. His remnant. With someone else.

The redhead staggers back, stunned.

". . . You traitor. . ."

Reno slinks back behind the corner, dropping to his knees, his hands shaking.

"How could you do this to me . . ."

I just can't take anymore
this life of solitude

Kadaj blinks, glancing in the direction of the redhead. The remnant dismisses the acquaintance, walking towards Reno.

". . . Reno . . ." He kneels beside the Turk, gripping his shoulder.

I feel like you don't want me around
I guess i'll pack all my things
I guess i'll see you around

Reno shuts his eyes, not wanting to hear the remnant. Brushing the gloved hand aside, the redhead gets up, shaking his head.

This is the final straw. The Turk demands that Kadaj tell him who that was. The remnant tries to explain, but Reno won't hear it.

It's all been bottled up until now
as I walk out your door
all I can hear is the sound

"We're through, Kadaj . . ."

". . . You don't mean . . ." Reno nods sharply, making Kadaj wince. "But I-"

Kadaj swallows, defeated. He grips Reno's arm pleadingly, trying to convince the Turk otherwise.

Reno looks away, moving from the remnant's grasp.

"Just . . . just go . . ."

Kadaj grimaces, shaking. He gets up, his attempts a mute point. His eyes flicker to the door, then back to Reno.

"Reno . . ."

The door closes, shutting with a slam.

I see the blood all over your hands

was it all just a part of your plan
this pistol's shakin' in my hands
and all I hear is the sound

Reno grimaces, his hands grasping the armrests of a chair. His hands run through his hair, a scream escaping his lips, as he falls to the floor.

The remnant peers back in through a window, watching the Turk's breakdown. He shakes his head, pity reflected in his Mako cat-eyes.

The remnant slowly slinks in, kneeling beside the Turk, brushing the tears away.
