This story takes place long before Celestia met Twilight, long before your happy Pony friends went to Sugarcube Corner, or designed fashions at the boutique, or wanted to join the Wonderbolts. Our story begins in a realm perfect by default, winning by accident, and loved by those who knew nothing but it. This Realm is Early Equestria, in the time of prosperity. The Old Story goes that Princess Luna was overcome with jealousy when she became Nightmare Moon, but was that really the case?
