New Year
It's New Year's Day...which means my love for him has grown even bigger then before if possible.
I, and villagers went through so much since the war between Madara last year, but we thankfully won by the sacrifice of many loyal ninjas that had lost their lives for their village out there. It was a miracle that I am forever grateful for. I will never forget my dear cousin Neji-neesan, he was a true leader that day, shining brightly in the battlefield with the will of fire plastered on his face. My father was touched by his heroic actions indeed and is thankful for him for saving my life. Thank you Neji-neesan...
"Hinata-chan are you okay? You look so lost in thought Is something wrong?"
Oh...that's right. Naruto-kun is very thankful too Neji-neesan! He said he will repay you back by fulfilling your wishes by removing the cage bird seal when he is soon to become Hokage, he thanks you for being a hero and saving his, mine and others life...everybody misses you even Tenten-chan.
"Huh?...oh sorry Naruto-kun I was just thinking of Neji-neesan." I looked at the sky, it was a beautiful colour of deep blue which made the stars all the more illuminating.
"Ahh...you know he is now probably thinking about you too and wishes you a happy new year!" He grinned that playful grin he always does to melt my heart.
"Also I think he is happy for us...don't you think?" He tilted his head to the side next to mine and wrapped his arms around my waist whilst waiting for the fireworks to begin.
"Yes. He always wanted me to be happy...and being with you makes me happy Naruto-kun." I snug closer to him and sniffed that all familiar scent of miso ramen from his fuzzy orange scarf...oh?...Do I smell cinnamon buns as well?
"Hey Hinata-chan are you cold? I'll share my scarf with you, here." He unwrapped his scarf from his warm neck and wrapped it around both of us since it was fairly large. Ahh the smell of cinnamon buns is like heaven to my soul.
"Thank you Naruto-kun." I blushed at his gentlemen-like manners, he is so sweet and caring.
Before I knew it, I was lost in his enchanting, deep blue eyes and he looked down at me, he stared at my eyes with so much love held in it.
"Hinata-chan...even though we lost many in that war, I want you to be happy this year and I will be here for you all way." He caressed his warm fingers on my already red blushing cheeks and leaned closer to me.
"By your side." I felt his hot breath near my lips which made me shudder in pure delight and excitement.
*BOOOM, BOOOM, BOOOM*
It was sweet, short but very passionate...our first kiss.
We both lifted our heads up, side by side in the grass and watched the dazzling fireworks brighten the sky even more as it took us for our first step, a new beginning and a New Year.
