Bifrost Built from Scraps

Theirs was a grey scrap world,
careless lines streaked across a piece of canvas
torn away
but still they struggled on,

Struggled
with the things they had: scraps
which they used to build
their home, their kingdom
and the bridge of Bifrost that slowly grew
by their hands to the heavens
and their future.
