My head was throbbing and nothing would make the pain go away. I tried drinking a soda, taking medicine, and even a short nap. Still, after four hours my head continued to throb painfully. I must have fallen asleep in my dark bedroom because when I awoke Edward was next to me. Without thinking I took his cold hand and placed it on my forehead.
"Headache" I mumbled and leaned closer to the love of my life. He wrapped his other arm around me and I snuggled up to his chest. It took only twenty minutes of laying like this for the pain to subside.
"Are you feeling better?" He asked as I sat up.
"Much better, thank you." He kissed my lips softly in response.
"You're welcome."
