A Jak and Daxter Songfic
A/N: This is my first ever attempt at a songfic. I decided to use Freak Like Me by the awesome Halestorm. Set kinda AU twoards the end of the 2nd game. Jak's POV. Please enjoy!

It had been meticulosly planned. We were to run through the streets, rallying the citizens.
Making most of the ride
We had worked for weeks on our approach. When one of us died, we did not stop our work.
Covered in black we're like the social outcasts
I mean, yeah, we mourned their death. But this was more important. The mistreatment of people and Dark eco abuse is unacceptable.
Just like an animal
Every member of the rally knows this.
We crawl out of our cages
We all prepared for the worst, saving ammo and vials of eco for hecklers. And the Krimzon Guard.
They can't tame us. If you're one of us...
We almost got caught. The flags we stole almost went up in smoke from the Eco we used on them. We almost lost more members of our "famliy".
Wave your flag
Many were ready to sit down and give up. I wouldn't allow it.
Get off your ass. You don't need a cure!
We were threatened by many. We stood our ground.
Can't hold you down, you were born to rise
We were told to stop.
We will not surrender
We planned vandalisms and hell.
Give them something to remember
Many Zoomers were siphoned for fuel...
Write your name in gasoline
...For our misdeeds, of course.
And set that shit on fire!
We will not regret our choices.
Don't apologize
The day arrives. Gasoline is poured, flags are waved. Those like us rose up and joined our rally.
If you're a FREAK like me...
We rallied for days on end. All in honor of our fallen member. The baron and his guards tried to stop us. They failed. I decapitated the fat bastard and held his head high, yelling
"It's our time now to rise up and claim what's rightfully ours!"
