Riley's POV
"What!?" I screamed
"Riley, sweetie, calm down." my mom said
"No I can't calm down I don't want to be married to some guy I don't even know!"
"Your father and I did the exact same thing at your age and we turned out perfectly happy. Plus the kingdoms do need to join if we want them as allies. You leave
tomorrow you can bring one servant, peaches and honey"(my dog and horse)
I stormed out. How could my parents even think of giving me off to some stranger who just so happens to be a complete jerk. Yeah Ive heard stories. When I got to my room I saw Maya(my maid and best friend since forever)
" What happened with your parents?" She asked seeing the frustration on my face.
" They want me to get married to Lucas Friar."
" The jerk from the next kingdom."
"That's the one and you are coming with me." I stated
"Are you sure that's aloud"
"Yes it is and I can bring peaches and honey. Plus we leave tomorrow so we better start packing."
