I've been a huge fan of Ponyphonic's hit mlp fan song; Lullaby for a Princess and for those of you who know my main character Luna; she knows what its like to have to make a difficult decision like stopping someone you love before they can hurt anyone else...so I re-did the lyrics to fit Luna
Sighing sadly as night rose; Luna Cromwell, guardian of the well known Shire; home of the legends of Irish lore of old...Stood on her balcony overlooking the mother city; in the center a fountain in honor of someone who made one of the greatest sacrifices; her prince, Cael...The guilt still haunted her; changing her into a much more guarded woman; afraid of loosing someone as she had him...Feeling as though she'd let him down in protecting him; looking up at the night sky and into the havens where the guardian's of old rest she started to sing softly; a lullaby that carried his memory, and her apologies...
Fate has been cruel and order unkind;
How can I have not seen the change…
the blame was my own; the punishment yours

Soon did that guardian take notice that Cael was acting unnaturally…

and that poor dear guardian could do nothing to stop; the corruption of him who she cared for the most…
