Elsa ran through the streets, not caring where she went. How could he do this to her? She wondered. Didn't he love her? He said he did! It had begun to snow outside, but she didn't notice. All she cared about was getting as far away from her parents, her old life, and, most important of all, Jack. She turned around one last time to see Jack and that Blonde girl, kissing. KISSING! How could Jack be so heartless? She reached the end of the street, and turned left. Elsa knew where she was going. That was the only thing she felt sure of. Elsa ran until she came to the city border. Goodbye, forever. She thought. She took one step on the frozen ground, then two more. In a moment, she was running again. Away from everything she knew, into the great unknown.
Elsa ran uphill for what seemed like hours. She was tiring and feeling weak when she came across a flat, snow covered plain. A tear fell down her cheek as she remembered the flat plains on her parents estate. As a little girl, she would roll around with her younger sister, Anna. They would play for hours on end, lying in the green grass. Elsa knew she would miss her family, Arendelle Estate, and… no. she would not think about Jack. The past was in the past. She pulled her fur coat over her shoulders, and trudged on.
Elsa had not told Jack everything. She had kept one thing from him. Before she met him, Elsa was a retired Broadway actress. At a very young age, her father, who was known himself on stage as "the king" introduced her to the directors. Soon after, Elsa's career was born. She worked with Broadway for six years, and then retired. Remembering her time in the spotlight, she felt the urge to sing.
Piano music starts…
"The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, Not a footprint to be seen."
Looking around at all the snowy mounds, she found inspiration for the next lyrics…
"In a kingdom of isolation, and it looks like I'm the queen."
The wind whipped Elsa's hair, as if helping her with her song.
"The wind is howling like the swirling storm inside. Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I tried."
"Don't let them in, don't let them see! Be the good girl you always have to be!"
"Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know…
"WELL NOW THEY KNOW!"
"Let it go, let it go, can't hold it back anymore!"
"Let it go, let it go, turn away and slam the door!"
"Here I stand, in the light of day! Let the storm rage on!"
"Jack Frost wasn't my type anyway!"
Laughing at her clever song, she trudged on with not a care in the world. True, Elsa would hurt from her breakup, but she would forget about it in time. "Who needs men anyway! No law says a girl has to be married to be happy!" Elsa smiled and walked for a while. She was interrupted from her happy daze when a man slammed into her. "Hey! Watch it, pal!" she screamed. When this man got up, she realized who he was. "Flynn?" he frowned slightly. "How do you know my name?" she blushed. "Well, I heard that blonde girl you where sitting with say it. I was at the same restaurant you where." His eyes lit up in recognition. "Oh, you where with that guy who was kissing my date! I guess you came out here to vent, same as Me." she smiled, and held out her hand. "Hi. I'm Elsa. Nice to meet you, Flynn." He grinned, his pearly whites shining. "Yeah. Nice to meet you, Elsa."
