Their lips were mashed uncomfortably together, and Adam was far too tense. Pepper pulled away, Adam giving her a kicked-puppy look at the loss of contact.
"You're supposed to open your mouth, dork," She said, affectionately whapping him on the top of the head.
"Oh. Sorry." He opened his mouth wide, sticking his tongue out and saying 'ahh' like they tell you to do at the doctor's office. She whapped him again, then placed a tiny kiss on the tip of his tongue.
His mouth snapped shut and he blinked at her.
"You really have no idea how to kiss someone, do you?"
