I have always wanted to fly. Watching birds up in the sky flying free, going wherever the wind takes them. I'm envious.
Arthur, your wings though, nothing compares. Their a beautiful pure white, flapping strongly as you flip, twist, and speed your way across the bright blue sky.
Standing here on top of the building I can watch you perfectly. I watch and see the radiant rare smile that crosses your face as you soar freely.
Why is it you only smile while you fly? Why can't you smile like that for anything else, why not for me?
Id love to fly beside you, us speeding through the clouds going wherever we wished and just being free together. I wouldn't mind spending all of eternity by your side.
Your bright green eyes lighting up in joy as we fly escaping every worry even if only for a moment. The look in those eyes is so warm to me.
Arthur, your closer to my building now, flying just a bit below where I am, and I'm torn. I think ill give you your surprise now…
Backing up a little I pause and take a deep breathe. Then I'm running, my feet pounding against the cement and then suddenly I'm floating. For a split second after my feet leave the edge, I'm floating freely almost like flying.
Then the moment is over and gravity takes over again. I'm falling fast the air speeding up around me.
"Arthur~" I say your name quietly as I fall beside you. Somehow you heard it and as you turn to face me I watch the various emotions in your eyes. First confusion, then slow realization, before desperate fear and panic.
It all happens in a split second then I'm falling past you the ground race towards me.
Hearing a scream I look up realizing its you. I can't hear you very well I think your yelling my name but I cant tell. Your hand is out stretched towards me your eyes filled with tears as you try to reach me.
And all I can give is a loud joyful shout of laughter a grin crossing my face. Finally you're focused on me those beautiful forest green emeralds are on me.
Right before the worst pain in the world spreads through me before my world goes black as I finally meet the concrete I finally am able to tell you those few little words I've been holding back.
"I love you…Arthur."
And my world turns black my name screamed, echoing in my ears. I got to fly with you, arttie, and thank you.
