"I'm fine." When Veronica says it she says it with conviction. Well, at least she hopes she does, she's been up all night practicing.
"OK honey." Keith believes her. She's his daughter, it's part of the job description.
"You sure girl?" Wallace isn't convinced. He's not sure how someone can be fine when the person who tried to kill them gets acquitted. But it only takes a smile to sway him.
"You're lying." Logan looks strait into her eyes and tells her.
That's why it's his arms that she falls into when she realizes that he's right.
