"What I should have done a long time ago." Barry said as her turned Caitlin to make her face him. He then planted his lips firmly against hers. Caitlyn was surprised at what Barry just did. They were just friends. Sure she had dreams where he would do ravenous things to her but they were just dreams. She mustered up all her willpower and pushed him away. "Barry…"Caitlin tried to say but was cut off when Barry kissed her again.
This time, her willpower was not enough as she gave in and kissed him back. How long she had wanted this. A little moan escaped from her when he opened his mouth slightly and Caitlin let him in, brushing her tongue against his. She couldn't help herself when she put her hands on Barry's chest. Barry retaliated in a similar way as he moved his hands to her waist.
Before their kiss could escalate any further, Caitlin's phone vibrated."Oh my god!" Caitlin said out loud as she realized her actions. Great! Cock blocked by her mother. When she read the text, her blood ran cold "My mom has been in a car accident! I have to go." Caitlyn informed as she wiped a tear. She didn't like her mother very much but she also didn't want her to die.
The real Barry woke up when Cisco called him. "Dude! Where have you been? Everyman is about to leave the city. You have to stop him!" Cisco yelled. Barry appeared at Star Labs a few seconds later, grabbed his suit and left for the airport. Cisco gave him the serum that Caitlin made to counteract Everyman's powers. Barry spotted him and took the fight to a remote location.
Everyman was locked in the pipeline but before they could close the door, he said "Can I speak to the person I am now alone?" And he turned into Barry. "Guys, give us a few minutes. I'll be with you in a few." Barry ordered. When everyone was gone, Barry folded his arms and waited for Bates to start talking. "I set things off for you. You'll have to thank me later." He said with a smirk.
"What are you talking about?"
"The girl who went to visit her mother. I kissed her and she thought I was you."
"Caitlin? Why would you do that?" Barry asked utterly confused. "You two like each other. The chemistry between you was suffocating me. I had to do something that both of you were too shy to do. So now she thinks that you made a move." Bates informed the now flustered Barry. Were his feelings for Caitlin that obvious! He felt a special connection to Caitlin but he shoved his feelings deep because she was his doctor, and his good friend.
"Why would you do that? I don't like her!" Barry said but Bates saw right through him. He shape-shifted into Caitlin and said "Hey cutie." Barry's blush further intensified. "Ok I'll make you a deal, text the girl and tell her to come meet me and I'll tell her it was me who kissed instead of you if you don't want anything to happen. The ball is in your court now man." Bates finished.
What was Barry going to do? 'What am I going to do?! I should text Caitlin to go see Bates and he will explain everything to her. But I also kind of want something with her.' Barry thought. Little did he know that Cisco saw the entire thing.
