Who would've thought that a simple game of basketball could become something else?

It started out with everyone gathering at the basketball courts. Black Star, Patti, Crona and Maka on one team, while Kid, Tsubaki, Soul and Liz. were on the other.

In the end, Black Star's team won.

"HAHAHA! We should do another punishment!" he yelled. "But it can't be the same as before," Soul said. Kid looked relieved about that part, until he heard Patti's suggestion.

"Kid has to kiss Tsubaki!"

"What?" Kid yelled, staring at his weapon in shock. Liz smirked, "I think that'd be a great idea." "Um, you guys do we really have to do that-" Tsubaki started to ask. It wasn't like she minded the idea, because . . .she'd had a crush on Kid for a while now. She was just afraid that he wouldn't accept her feelings, since they weren't that close.

"Come on, Tsubaki!" Black Star yelled. He already knew about his weapon having a crush on the young Shinigami, it was sort of obvious, at least to him. "Kiss! Kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" Black Star, Patti, and Liz started chanting.

Kid sighed, "Fine!" He turned to Tsubaki, "We might as well get this over with. They won't stop bothering us, until we do." "Uh, yeah, ok," she replied.

The chanting suddenly stopped, when the group saw Kid and Tsubaki kissing. They really hadn't expected the two to do it. Liz, Maka, and Patti 'Aww'd' while Soul rolled his eyes (and got Maka Chopped), Black Star and Crona just looked a bit shocked.

Kid and Tsubaki quickly pulled away from the kiss, both blushing. "See, they won't bother us anymore, about it," Kid said, rather awkwardly. "Um, yeah. I guess you were right."

Ring! Ring! Rin-

Tsubaki answered her cell phone, cutting off its annoying ringing. "Hello?"

"Uh, hey Tsubaki," Kid's voice said on the other line. Tsubaki's eyes widened when she heard who it was. It had been a few days since the 'punishment' and they'd sort of been avoiding each other. It was now the weekend and it was a rather nice day. Tsubaki had been planning on going out, possibly to the park or maybe just walk around Death City.

"Hello Kid. Um, why are you calling? Is something wrong?" Tsubaki asked.

"No . . .I-I was just wondering if you wanted to, uh, maybe go eat lunch together, today?" Kid asked.

Tsubaki was silent for a moment before replying, "Sure! I'd love to!"

After decided where they would go to lunch and saying good-bye, Tsubaki hung up and walked to Black Star's room. His door was closed, so she knocked, "Black Star are you there?"

The door opened, showing her meister's head, "Yo! What's up, Tsubaki?"

"Kid and I are going out to lunch. I'll be back soon," she replied. Black Star tried to hide a smirk, "Awesome! It took you guys a while!"

Tsubaki blushed, "What are you talking about?" "It's obvious you like him and I'm sure he likes you!" Black Star said.

Really?

The question kept on repeating in Tsubaki's head as she waited for Kid. She was now in front of the park they had decided to meet, then go to lunch. "Tsubaki!"

She looked up to see Kid running to her. "Hi, Kid!" she said, smiling. He stopped in front of her, "Sorry I'm late. Some of the paintings in my house were drawn on by someone and I had to take them all down."

Tsubaki giggled, realizing that 'someone' was Patti. "Well, I just got here, so it's fine. Should we go eat?"

"Sure," Kid said and suddenly grabbed Tsubaki's hand. It took her by surprise, but she didn't pull away.

They started to walk away from the park and had no clue that they were being followed.

"Its so cute!" Liz squealed, watching the two leave, from behind a tree. "Kid's got a girlfriend!" Patti giggled. "Exactly," Maka said, "Come on! Let's follow them!"
