The Notebook
It was a rather normal day. Or, as normal as it can get when one was in the Host CLub. There were no customers that day, so Kyouya didn't mind if the conversation topics were a bit off. He didn't mind if everyone went too crazy. And when Kyouya doesn't mind...all Hell breaks loose.
The twins were the ones that started the whole thing off...
"We watched a show last night," they said.
...and it was the most normal of all random comments.
"Oh? What about?" Tamaki questioned. Normal and innocent.
"Well, there was this guy," Hikaru said.
"And he had a notebook," Kaoru finished.
"Wow, ineresting." Haruhi was not impressed.
"We aren't finished." They spoke in unison. Haruhi held her hands up in surrender.
"In the notebook,"
"He wrote criminal's names,"
"And they died."
"That's rather morbid," Tamaki replied almost nonchalantly.
"We aren't finished," the twins said through gritted teeth before continuing on.
"This guy,"
"He was really smart,"
"And he had this power complex."
"I feel like you guys are getting somewhere with this," Haruhi muttered to herself.
"We. Aren't. Finished." the twins seethed. Haruhi groaned.
"And we got to thinking,"
"This guy,"
"Was a lot like Kyouya." They chorused that last part.
"Eh?" Haruhi questioned in shock.
"Well, think about it," Kaoru began.
"He has that notebook of his,"
"And he is rather smart,"
"Plus, he does have some sort of thing with power."
"So," Tamaki started, "You are suggesting that Kyouya is this fellow from your show?"
"Of course not!" they dismissed him together.
"But, he may indeed,"
"Be the holder of a Death Note."
"..."
"..."
"What?"
Haruhi shookher head. Tamaki laughed.
"Oh, please," he said. That can't be."
"Well, does he eat apples?"
Tamaki jumped.
"Come to think of it, he did have an apple today for lunch."
"Then he could have a pet shinigami!"
"..."
"..."
"What?"
"You two trouble me," Haruhi replied. "I'm going home." She walked from the room.
"So then, if Kyouya has a Death Note,"
"And an apple loving Shinigami,"
they twins looked at eachother,
"Doed that make milord L?"
They both looked at Tamaki for a moment, then back at eachother.
"Quite frankly," Hikaru began,
"He lacks the brains."
