It's a poem about how Katniss strives to stay sane no matter what the capitol throws at her.

A/N) It's called You Can't Break Me. It's Katniss POV but it's a bit obvious, so yeah. I hope you like it. I don't own the Hunger Games. If I did, do you think I would be writing on Fanfiction?

I clipped my pin back on

I pulled back my arrow with force

I volunteered with bravery

I danced in flames of rebellion

I sang to the dyeing and already gone

I kissed cold pale dyeing lips

I braided my hair over and over again

I watched the whip lash down on loved ones

I saw a Stranger shot without hesitation

I have plucked a single dandelion from the ground

I stepped on the ashes and grave of my district

I fled from a single white rose

I kissed a pearl as reminder of him

I agreed to be the mockingjay

I escaped death over and over again

I shot sparks out of the clock like prison

I hid in closets barricaded by fear

I forgave he who tried to kill me

I watched a friend marry his love

I watch the friend die soon after

I lead my troops into dangerous places

I watched friends be taken hostage by the devil

I watched familiar parachutes dropped from the sky

I watched my sister burn in the fire i lit

I vowed to kill you for what you have done

I killed the leader of district thirteen

I chased away nightmares every night

I hoped to forget the sickening smell of blood

I cry for my friends whom i lost

I knotted my rope over and over

I held on to the edge of sanity

I would not let you break me
