Disclaimer: You know I don't own a thing
„I'll slash you and then I'll know if you are lying."
She said slashing Saika in the way of Izaya Orihara the man who made everybody she cared about suffer. He dodged swiftly, but she was prepared for that, seeing him fight Shizuo one too many times. She was waiting for him when he landed on his feet. His eyes went wide when Saika bit into his arm. His surprised eyes traveled from his wound across Saika to Anri's satisfied eyes. Orihara Izaya, probably not seeing something come his way the first time in his life, what a sight. And then….
….then he laughed. Slashed Izaya Orihara laughed manically. He grabbed Saika that bit into the skin of his fist, but he paid no attention to it, showing the sword out of his wound.
"I can't believe this. You really think you can put me, the great Izaya Orihara under YOUR control. My, my you must be very selfish for I'm projected for all the humanity to love." He laughed manically.
"I don't…I don't understand." Anri spoke quietly, backing away from the laughing man.
"You don't, don't you. You're such a funny little person Anri Sonohara. Thinking that Saika would satisfy itself with you. You who refuse to love. Saika, who is made out of love, whose soul purpose is to love humans, and…" He said drawing his favorite switch-blade out; "…so is mine."
Anri stared at the small blade in disbelief, her mind finding only one explanation for all of this.
"Saika meet your mother." Izaya chuckled.
"That's not possible." Anri whispered; "My Saika is the original. It's not like the others."
"Yes, indeed that one was my best work ever, a child that is almost as powerful as its mother. But just almost. My darling Saika is still the original."
"No, that is a switch-blade. Saika is an ancient sword, like mine." She said, feeling the panic rise up.
"Poor, foolish, little Anri, stop fooling yourself already, you really are killing all the fun in this. Saika has graciously agreed to turn into a switch-blade, once I explained to her that I'm not really a sword person. Really Anri, how could you not see it? After all, both I and Saika really love humans so much, we are practically made for each other. Unlike you. You are just emotionless shell." Izaya said as his eyes glimmered with crazy shine.
"You are insane."
"Tsk, why does everyone always say that? Can't they recognize a genius when they see one? Well I guess that is the price I have to pay to go above you all. Immortality, Anri. That's what I'm after. And Saika and Celty are going to help me get it."
"Celty?! What does she have to do with it?" Anri yelled, afraid for her friend.
"Whoops. I got carried away. Well then I guess I can't let you leave with that information, at least not until you pay. I don't give this kind of information for free you know." He said.
In a minute he was in front of Anri, knocking her Saika out of her hands, and pressing his against her neck.
"I would really love to see what will you do now." He chuckled into the night.
