"Look. I am not crazy!" I yelled as calmly as I could. The two officers just stared at me like I might've expected them to, like I was just some criminal or lunatic. The interrogation room was closing in, but I could expect that after being stuck there for five hours.

"Miss, you called us—" the fat, balding one tried to reason, stepping away from the corner. Gah, I hate cops. Fighting back a glare, I took a deep breath and tried, again, to explain my situation.

"Alright look. Yesterday, I fell asleep on my couch in Georgia, and today I woke up on a bench…here." My body tensed as my own realization of the situation set in. This place…. I wasn't welcome. "When I woke up, I obviously panicked, but um, I just started to walk. I wandered for like a hour when I stumbled into this shit—crappy diner, excuse me, and the stupid TV was on—" My head dropped as I spoke. The female officer, Officer Lagan, I think, she stepped forward and sat across from me.

"That's when you saw the news about Dean Winchester, is that correct?" That name, that stupid name that started it all. I nodded feebly, but the memory of sitting in front of my TV screen a few nights ago, watching the Winchester brothers attempt to kick Lucifer's ass, was so fresh in my mind I could see every detail.

"Yeah, it was something about the Three Year Anniversary of the City Bank of Milwaukee Hostage Crisis, and-and I looked up and his face was—" Jesus, why can't I say it?

Officer Lagan folded her hands and leaned near me with a white smile. "How about we get you some coffee, Miss Kain." She nodded to her partner and the guy just rolled his eyes and stepped out of the room. The tense silence made me squirm and the look on Lagan's face wasn't helping at all. "Now, you said on the phone that you know where he is. Care to elaborate?"

Hiding a wince, I looked up at her face, preparing for disappointment. I mean, when you see a fictional character on a television screen and you realize that he's real, your first reaction is to panic, and then call police claiming you know everything about the Winchesters. At least, mine was. "Well, Officer, I wasn't exactly in my right mind when I picked up the pay phone," I tried to explain, sitting up in the uncomfortable steel chair. Her grin slowly slipped into a serious frown. "The Winchesters are very dangerous and if we know their whereabouts, we can help anyone who they might hurt." Alright, I admit that I had to roll my eyes to that statement. Damn my infinite knowledge of Supernatural.

Officer Lagan looked into my eyes and stood abruptly. "Listen here, Miss Kain. These brothers have faked their death three times, and they've killed more than enough people. Now, do us all a favor and tell me where they are." Her eyes were ablaze, but all I could do was keep my mouth shut. I didn't know where they were, but I did know they were real, and if the dates I had seen were right, I had landed right in the 5th season.

The Apocalypse is here and I'm stuck in the middle of it.
