Forgiveness and Confessions

Kanone slowly stepped off the plane and turned to go back.
"I can't leave like this..I finially understand what Narumi-san was trying to teach us about hope.." /and I really want to stay with Eyes...perhaps he'll find it in his heart to forgive me../ He thought to himself as he headed away from the airport.
Eyes watched the plane he knew Kanone to be on leave his eyes shimmering with unshed tears. /My dear friend...if you only knew how much I needed you.../ Eyes thought as he got back into his limousine having them stop at the park where he first saw Kanone for the first time in years.
Kanone sighed to himself as he headed toward the hotel he had been staying at, looking up at the full moon. /I wonder where Eyes is right now..he didn't even see me off today..but what else should I expect..he trusted Ayumu-san with his life and I betrayed that trust..he's probably very angry with me still/
Eyes thought he heard something behind him and so he quietly hid trying to see if somehow a hunter had found him and his eyes widened slightly when he saw who it really was.
"Kanone...?" he murmured softly stepping out from behind the shadows.
Kanone slowly turned around almost in disbelief at his childhood friends' voice. "Eyes...?" he murmured softly.
Eyes slowly walked toward him. "I..I thought you were leaving for Germany..." Eyes replied barely more then a whisper.
Kanone went up embracing his friend tightly. "I was..but I wanted to apologize to...everyone...to you.." he finished softly pulling back to look into his friend and secret love's eyes.
"Kanone...I forgave you already..I can never stay angry with you.." Eyes said softly one hand coming up to rest on Kanone's cheek.
Kanone's eyes closed as he leaned into the touch, unconsciously moving his face closer to Eyes'. Eyes' heart fluttered as he took in Kanone's features and slowly meets Kanone's hypnotizing cat-like eyes.
"Eyes.." Kanone murmured softly his fingers resting gently atop Eyes' fingers that were still on his cheek. "There's something I've been meaning to tell you..and ask you" Eyes gently nodded his approval curious.
Kanone looked into Eyes' ice blue eyes calmly. "Eyes..for a long time..I've been in love with you..and I want you to come with me..back to Germany when I leave again.."
Eyes' eyes widened slightly before a soft smile broke out on his features. "I'd be honored...I love you as well Kanone.."
Kanone leaned forward slowly brushing their lips together,his hand moving behind Eyes' head. Eyes's eyes slowly drifted shut as he began to respond wrapping his arms around his neck, tears of joy falling from his eyes.
Kanone gently wiped the tears away as he slowly pulled back.
"I'm home.." He said softly and Eyes smiled a real smile.
"Welcome home Kanone..." he responded taking his hand in his as they headed to Eyes' home which now held Kanone as well.
