Hello readers. Every time you don't review a story you like, a puppy dies. You don't want a puppy to die, do you? I didn't think so. Review, and the puppies live. Also, the reason this is so short is becase it's a Prologue. Thank you readers in advance.

Prologue

Special Agent Timothy McGee took one tedious step after another in the deep snow on the south side of Mount Everest. Hooked into his climbing belt was a thick, red nylon cord that was strung up to a large, icy cliff. His panting breath penetrated the relative stillness and peace that accompanied this beautiful day on the side of the tallest mountain in the world. Finally, his trudging steps brought him to the beginning of the ice cliff. He clipped himself into the new rope, drew his ice axes, and began the long ascent up the sheer drop. With each step he dug his spiked crampons into the wall, and his breath became more labored. A mere three steps from the top he took a small break, hanging from the rope and looking out over the late morning stillness of the Tibetan highlands. McGee finally crested the top and realized that the sea of tents that was Camp 2 was right in front of him. He looked around and saw a tent with NCIS printed on the side. After nodding a greeting to several other climbers, he entered the spacious tent and saw one of the people that grieved him most: Special Agent Anthony Dinozzo.

"Hey, Probie. Enjoy the trip?" He asked.

"Damn. You. Dinozzo." He said in between panted breaths.
