As soon as I got the call, I grabbed Germany, our plane tickets, and a small black box; Japan was in trouble. An earthquake had struck his land. Japan may die.—No—I won't let that happen. I can save him.

After sixteen hours on a plane, we were finally at Japan's house. I knocked on the door. It opened to an almost empty home.

Japan lay there in his bed

"Konichiwa Italy-" he was cut off by a cough.

"Ciao Kiku, how are you feeling?"

"Not very well Ita-" his voice broke.

"Hush now Kiku, you need to rest your voice, Germany, go get him something to drink."

Germany exited the room, heading toward the car, to go get some water for Kiku and a couple of beers for himself.

I looked at Kiku and pulled out the black box I had brought with me.

"Kiku, I brought this for you, It may help you get better," I opened the box and showed the bracelet to Kiku, "would you wear it please." Kiku held out his weak arm as I put the bracelet on.

"I got Nii-chan to convince England to charm this bracelet with a 'guardian angel' spell."

"Who gave you this bracelet Feli?" he asked.

"Doitsu," I lied.

"It was Holy Rome, wasn't it?"

I hesitated, "Yes, It was Holy Rome, he gave this to me before—he left me. He told me to always remember him." I felt water dripping down my cheek, only to realize it was a tear.

Germany came back into the room and saw me crying. He proceeded to kiss the tear off of my cheek. I wrapped my arms around him. He always comforted me when I was sad.

"Doitsu,"

"Yes, Feli" he said.

"Ti amo."

"I love you too." Germany said.

I love Germany, but I would never tell him about Holy Rome.

"Italy," Japan said happily, "can you go make some pasta for me, please"

"Of course, I will make pasta for you Kiku."

I saw Germany reaching for a bag, "Italy, I got the drinks," Germany said reaching into the bag, "and I got some pocky for you Kiku."

"Thank you boys," Japan said, "for everything."
