Looking out at the docks of Capeside, you can usually find a group of teenagers hanging around, feet skimping the water along with many dull conversations, but not this Saturday night. The moon's reflection glittered on the still water at the end of the docks, his feet slowly interrupting the peaceful water, creating slow ripples, small enough to frighten the fish gliding underneath.

He had asked her not to bring the matter up again, but she tried once more, "Thank you for saving me in there, I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't walked in."

The boy replied quietly with a "don't worry" and an "it's okay," but it wasn't okay, that boy had saved her life, had protected her from the evil in the world and she needed to express why what he did was so important to her. With a brief decision, she leaned over to the boy and kissed him on the cheek, just a small, soft peck to say thank you. Nothing like what had happened to her earlier.

The boy turned to her, and said "what was that for?"

Embarrassed, the girl pulls away and whimpers "I was just saying thank you."

Not sure what to do, the girl decides to get up, to walk up to her house with that kiss hanging in the air. Before, the girl can turn to walk away, the boy, out of a moment of complete and utter instinct, grabs her arm and pulls her close to his body. They gaze into each other's eyes, knowing what is about to happen and how it can change everything with this one action. They don't care, all they do is lean into the force that is pulling them closer together, and finally, they meet. At first, it is soft and forgetful, but quickly turns into a mess of passion and desire, a wanting that is drawing them closer and closer together.

Then, just like that, they step away. He coughs, and she shuffles her feet. Again, she turns to walk away, back to the normal life that leads before her. He panics, not sure what to do, either follow her into a life changing moment or walk away and forget this action of lust. He decides.

Now, looking out at the docks in Capeside on this Saturday night, you can find a boy and a girl walking hand in hand together.
