Korra was good at spotting things. Like when her daughter was 14, she noticed the way she would bite her nails whenever they went to Air Temple Island. It was a nervous habit. Though she didn't quite understand why. They had gone to the island plenty of times.
Then when her daughter was 15, Korra noticed how she would blush whenever Rohan said something to her. That's when Korra started to realize.
Korra wasn't stupid. When her daughter turned 16, she saw the sideways glances they gave each other from across the dinner table at Tenzin's.
One night she noticed them sneaking out together while everyone was having tea in the living room.
When Korra stepped outside just in time to see him take her hand, she knew.
She followed them from a distance. As they ended up at the gazebo overlooking Yue Bay, Korra stood behind a tree. When she didn't hear them talking she peaked her head around just in time to see him lean in for a kiss.
"Well, I'm not surprised." She whispered. But it was aloud enough for them to hear.
They jumped away from each other and gasped.
"Mom!" her daughter shouted.
"K-Korra! I-I c-can explain!" he said nervously.
Korra came out from behind the tree smirking. "No. There's no need. I understand."
"Y-you do?" he stuttered.
"Hey, the heart wants what the heart wants." Korra replied
The young couple looked at each other and blushed as they sighed a breath of relief.
"But I'm not the one you two should be worried about." Korra said with a smirk as she crossed her arms.
The young couple looked at each other with nervous faces.
"One of you has to tell Mako."
Alrighty then! I had one reviewer ask for a Rohan and Mya story, so I thought "What the heck, i'll give it a try." It's really short but I kind of like it. Maybe I'll right more, I don't really know yet. I'm way behind on my Irosami and Bolinorra stories. But yeah, let me know what you guys think!
Oh and in this story, Mako and Korra's daughter Mya is 16 while Rohan is 22.
