CONTRADICTION. TERMINATING ONE'S EXISTENCE TO BENEFIT OTHERS? NOT THE COURSE OF ACTION I WOULD HAVE ADVISED.

Jaime knew two things: he wasn't sure if he actually believed in the Lord, but if the Scarab was his 'Jiminy Cricket with a bad attitude,' then he would be its Devil's Advocate.
"Jesus was a pacifist! He saved lives, what do you do except tell me to terminate people who - - " He paused, tilted his head back. "They were just holding water guns!"
Heads covered in caps and sun hats swiveled. Collectively, the tourists discreetly edged away from him.
Nightwing cleared his throat loudly. He sounded like he had a large rock lodged in his throat. "Uh, and he's Jaime Reyes, Blue Beetle," said Nightwing, recovering first. "And that's all for the Team." He looked at Jaime with curious suspicion. "I think."
Jaimed didn't notice. He glared - - tried to - - at his back, but he ended up glaring at the man with farmer tan-lines standing at his right."Water guns have water in them - - what? 'It could've had hydrogen sulfide?' - - where's a five-year-old going to get aluminum sulfide?"
Jaime proceeded to have a fight with himself; at least, that was how it seemed to them. Nightwing pinched the bridge between his eyes. Why couldn't Conner have been available?
"Let's check out the hangar, shall we?" said Nightwing. "M'gann's bio-ship is our main mode of transport - - "
"She's out with La'gann," said Gar helpfully, watching Jaime scrabbling at his back. The back appeared to be winning.
" - - but we also have the Sphere - - "
"Superboy took it."
" - - you know what? The hangar's boring. Let's go to the living room, much more exciting. It's, um, where we have Bingo Night."
Nightwing herded them all out, just as Jaime snapped, "Cállate, estúpido insecto!"
