I never should have let him go with me. I waited how long. He finaly confessed to me. Why did he have to ask to see a battle?
Physicaly, we both emerged unharmed, but Yuuri saw me do what he had always hated.
Kill.
It was in defense. To protect him, and the rest of the country.
Will he still love me after seeing that?
Will he even want to be near me?
The battle was two days ago. Somehow, I've managed to avoid him since then, but I can't keep it up any longer. He's summend me to come see him
Trembling, he opened the door
"Wolfram," he said, his face serious. "Why have you been avoiding me?"
"Why would you want to see me after seeing that?" I asked, staring at the ground, voice trembling.
"What are you mean 'that'?"
He couldn't have forgotten already, why is he playing dumb?
"You saw that battle. You saw me. I killed them how can you stand to be near me?"
"Wolfram, come here."
I walked behind the desk and stood next to him, eyes still trained on the ground. Yuuri stood up and pinned my arms to my sides.
"Wolf, look at me," he said firmly.
I glanced at him through my long bangs.
"I know you're a solider. I know you didn't kill those men because you wanted to. You did it, because you thought it would keep innocent people safe. I'm not going to stop loving you because you're trying to protect people."
"But they- I-I-"
"Did what you had to do."
"B-but, Yuuri, you saw me. I-I-"
Yuuri rolled his eyes, and silenced him with a sweet kiss.
"I love you, Wolfie, I went to the battle to make sure you weren't hurt. I knew what I was going to see, but I had to make sure you would be okay." Yuuri kissed me on the forehead. "Go see Greta, I'm sure she's missed you. I'll finish up here. Then, we can go for a walk, through the gardens, okay?"
I kissed his lips lightly, before walking from the room. I briefly paused in the doorway, and glanceed over my shoulder and smiled at Yuuri, who had already gone back to work.
