She was all alone. Yukito had left and he would not be coming back. Misuzu was all alone and she knew it was inevitable she knew they could never be together. But she never got to tell him how much she loved him. She loved him more than just a friend but they could never be. Yukito would die because of her. She still had her mother and Sora but they would disappear too.
She laid there in her bed sobbing at her lonliness and wished she would just die so she didn't have to deal with this pain anymore. She could barely move or do anything anymore and she felt weak and pathetic. She wanted to be stronger and be able to cope but she just couldn't. She wanted Yukito to be there to comfort her to be her friend and her lover. she wanted him to help her.
Eventually she managed to sleep and woke up in the middle of the night. Sora was standing on her bedside table. Misuzu just wished Yukito would come to her again and as if granting her wish Sora vanished and Yukito appeared in front of her. "Yu-Yukito-san..." She mumbled and he looked at her with soft eyes. She reached out for him and he hugged her. "Yukito-san, Yukito-san, Yukito-san!" She cried happily while snuggling into him.
"I thought you'd left. I thought I'd be by myself." Yukito stroked her hair. "It's okay Misuzu you're a strong girl, you can get through this." Misuzu cried "But Yukito I can't do this without you!" "Misuzu I won't leave you again I promised I wouldn't leave you I'll never leave you. When I left that time I couldn't stop thinking about you. I wanted to make sure that you were okay." He hugged her tighter.
"Yukito I want to tell you something." "What is it?" "Yukito I l-love you. More than a friend I finally understand what this means but I can't love you because you'll just go away again." "Shh I'm not going anywhere Misuzu I may not be here in body but I am always here in spirit. I love you too Misuzu I finally realized I did when I left. I will always love you and I'll always be at your side forever okay?" Yukito gently kissed her lips. Misuzu closed her eyes. "Yukito-san..."
Yukito started fading away Misuzu reached for his hand and he took it. He smiled at her. "Keep doing your best Misuzu." The spirit Yukito faded away and Misuzu was all alone. She fell asleep and woke up alone in the room but she still held the memories of what had happened and she knew that Yukito would always be watching over her...
