Tris

I walked towards my mother, and thought to myself, "Where am I?" and then I realized that I was dead. How could I forget? David shot me, and now here I am, dead, gone, forever.

"I knew you would come," my mother said, pleased.

"Mom! I've missed you so much!" I said as I ran in for a hug.

She embraced me in a hug and what felt like seconds later she released me and looked me over.

"You've grown since I've last seen you."

"Is that a good thing, or a bad thing?" I asked.

"A good thing."

I wondered what was going on in the real world, with Tobias.

"Mom, is there no going back?"

"Well," she hesitated.

"Is there?!"

"I think so."

"Then how about if we go back?"

"You can only go back if that's what you really want."

"Great! Then let's go!"

"Beatrice, it's not what I really want, so you would have to go by yourself."

"Oh."

Now I didn't know what to do, leave my mother, or go back to Tobias. Oh just thinking about Tobias made my heart flutter. I missed him so much. I long to see him again, but if I go back, then who knows when I'll see my mother again.

My mother spoke up and said, "So what is your decision?"

"I don't know, what if I won't see you again?"

"You will, that you can trust me on."

"Ok, I think I want to go back to Tobias and the real world."

"And that you shall get," my mother said.

Tobias

I was walking to Christina's house when I remembered that Tris died three years ago today. It seemed like only yesterday Caleb-that two-faced idiot- let her die. Time flies. I got to Christina and said nothing.

She spoke up and said, "What's wrong?" and a second later she said, "Ohhhhh, right."

I nodded.

"Well, look at the bright side, you don't need to worry about her getting hurt anymore!"

"That's not helpful."

"I know, don't think your the only one who has lost somebody they loved."

"I don't, now let's go and get Caleb."

"Why?"

"We're going to her grave."

"Oh, yeah, I guess we should get him."

So we walked to retrieve Caleb, when I noticed a familiar face walking towards me, well now running.

Tris

Mom taught me how to get back to the real world in less then a second. She said to just close my eyes and imagine the world, and the place I wanted to be in most. And so I did. I opened my eyes a minute later and couldn't believe it, I was back, back in Tobias's room. I got up and looked at my surroundings, it was all so familiar, it was just how it was when I was last there. I walked out of his room and out of the house (no one was there) and decided to visit my own grave. I wondered if I was really dead, because here I am, flesh and bones and if they did bury me, then my body would be in a coffin, I just didn't get it, nor did I want to. So I was walking down the sidewalk when I noticed Tobias walking towards me. He started running to me. I think.
