The only reason he was on Earth was because he had been sent for the Mew Aqua, because he wanted to fix his home planet. So the only reason he knew her was because she was a Mew, his enemy. Yet at the same time he loved her. If he loved her, then he had to be a masochist. He could never have her, never be with her, as much as he tried. It was forbidden, and he knew it. It hurt him that he couldn't have her, like he longed to; yet at the same time he couldn't stop trying. Maybe he liked the pain he got, or he simply inflicted it upon himself because he felt like he could make everything better. By trying to have her, he hurt himself and her, at the same time, because she had a boyfriend, the damn tree-hugger, and no, she couldn't fall in love with an ugly alien like himself. But didn't she realize that she was no different from him? That she was changed, too? That she had the DNA of a cat, and could manifest as a Mew?
He hated himself for thinking such selfish thoughts, yet he could not help himself. The pain of not being able to have her hurt him, yet he could not keep himself away from the pain.
