Chapter One: The Girl Who Has Lost Everything

A girl around the age of 16 was walking through the woods, her injuries are great, but she seems to be refusing to give in.
"How can I loose everything in a matter of days? Only days before I had everything, but now everything is lost. I lost my family, my home, and my happiness..."
The girl stopped and placed a hand onto a tree for balance. She stared at the sky and tears flow free.
"Why are you doing this to me, I feel no remorse in anything I have done. So why did you have to punish me by taking what's most important to me. God, answer me!"
The girl finally couldn't take it any more; she collapsed onto the ground and fainted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two days later, a boy around the age of 18 was walking through the same woods as the girl. His silver hair blown in the wind and his red kimono can be seen from a mile away. He suddenly stopped and sniffed the air around him.
"I smelt blood, blood of a human girl."
With that the boy raced toward the direction where the scent of the blood seems to be coming from. Soon, he came to a clearing and saw the girl that has collapsed there two days ago. Her raven hair framed her face and her eyes seem to be closed in pain. Her cloths were ripped and tarred, and her body is covered in wounds. The boy walked closer and knelt down beside the girl, using his hands; he brushed away the hair that was covering her face. He was very surprised in what he saw.
"She's so young, how can anyone hurt anyone so innocent?"
The boy scanned the rest of her body and signed.
"She needs medical attention, and fast or she's going to die."
The boy picked up the girl bridal style and hopped onto a tree. By jumping from tree to tree, they soon arrived at the castle of the Western lord. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Our son Inuyasha must be find a mate soon, he has already reached the age of 18..."
The Lady Izayoi of the Western lands said to her mate Inutaisho, the lord of Western lands.
"I know. The boy needs to settle down. He has way too much energy and he never spends it on political matters. He needs to be more like Sesshomaru. Even though only two years separates their age. Sesshomaru is much more mature than Inuyasha..."
Inutaisho shook his head in disapproval.
"The boy needs to learn the aspects of life..."
"Speaking of Inuyasha, isn't that him walking through the garden?"
Inutaisho looked from the window and saw a boy walking through the garden. That boy also seems to be carrying someone in his arms.
"Indeed it is, nobody can miss him with that red kimono of his...but I wonder, who is that girl in his arms?" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The boy carried the girl into the castle and went up to his room. He placed the girl on his bed and walked away. He was just going to exit the room when he saw a familiar figure standing at the door.
"Well, well brother, I would never have thought that you would stoop so low to be near a human. Then again, you're no more than a half-breed. That is even lower than being a human."
"Sesshomaru! Get out of my room..."
"Oh, who's going to make me?"
"Shut up..."
Just as the boy was going to jump on top of his brother, he heard the girl stir and turned around. He walked next to the bed and stared at the human girl that is resting on it. He didn't notice that Sesshomaru has walked up behind him and together they watched the girl. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Where am I? Am I dead? Is this heaven? This bed is definitely very comfortable, unlike the one at home..."
The girl stirred a bit and sat up. Slowly, she opened her eyes and stretched. When her vision came into focus, she finds herself staring into two pairs of golden eyes. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
