Ichigo entered the Garganta after he visited Rukia in the soul society. Halfway to the world of the living he noticed a small glint to his left. As he turns to face it he see's a sword aimed perfectly at his head. Ichigo didn't have enough time to draw his Zanpakutō so he jumped out of the way he almost slid off the trail. He drew his Zanpakutō then the menos was gone. "Dammit where'd he go!" Shouted Ichigo but before he knew it a wave of Menos Grandes attacked they would normally be easy work if his hollowfication didn't seem to be acting different. Ichigo managed to fend them off cleansing all of thier souls. Before he could continue the Vasto Lorde reappeared knocking him off the initial path. Ichigo formed a new path to prevent falling into a random realm. As he was about to go on the offence the Vasto Lorde was behind him. Ichigo blocked with his sword in a nick of time barely able to stand agianst the blow. "Shit he's fast almost to fast to keep up with and I haven't even seen his face" Ichigo thought to him self. He started to drift his focus on the fight at hand that the path started to fade. As the fight progress never once did the menos do any damage let alone seem to be trying to kill him but it was fast really fast its true purpose was to break down Ichigos focus but was to busy blocking its advance to notice that his trail was barely supporting him next thing he knew was that it tackled him off so he fell. They started a grapple fight to close for the use of a blde so the menos starts punching him in the gut. Ichogo started to spit up blood when he finally was able to block at that moment he finally got a look at the menos and he'd didn't recognize the markings on the mask(looks similar to Hachigen Ushōda or Hachi). As they fell the menos proceeded to attack eventually hitting Ichigo repeatedly until he was knocked unconscious. Ichigo moments later woke up to realize that he was about to crash into another realm.
