Summary: You make me who I am and yet don't know me at all and that is ultimately the main reason why between love and madness there's you.
Between love and madness
When you look at me I feel myself dissolve under the heat of your gaze, my skin comes alive, my heart aches for the fact you may never know how you make me feel and I curse my inability to tell you. That's why between love and madness there's you.
When you work along side me, our hands brushing now and then, our minds seeming so often to work in sync, reminding me why no man could ever compare to the way you challenge me I feel like screaming "Please love me!" I don't of course, that's not us but it is why between love and madness there's you.
When you show me you care, when we fight, when we're just us, together doing what we do every day the emotions you can evoke in me leave me breathless. I try to fight, to take back control but then I'm forced to accept that without even realising it you took all control from me years ago. With you I can never hope to be totally in control again, another reason why between love and madness there's you.
When you haunt my dreams, hang around in my head like a spectre refusing to leave me in peace I realise that I can never be truly free of you and what's worse is that I don't want to be. You have been with me so long, in person and in the deepest fantasies in my head that you are part of me and without you I'd be incomplete. That's why between love and madness there's you.
When you are you, you captivate me, make me love you more each day and long to feel that love back from you always knowing I never will. You make me feel like I'm a teenager and yet older than the ages all at once, you make me want to scream from the roof tops that I love you and want to kill you in the same second. You make me who I am and yet don't know me at all and that is ultimately the main reason why between love and madness there's you.
