Kankuro came walking into the office and found Gaara studying some scroll. 'A week into being the Kazekage and he already has his nose in a book,' he thought.
Kankuro- Hey, Gaara. What are you reading?
Gaara didn't answer. He just kept on reading. Kankuro just stared at him. And kept staring. And staring. And staring. And staring...
Gaara- I take your going to keep staring until I tell you, so I'll tell you. I'm reading about Kontongakure.
Kankuro- Huh???
Gaara- Kontongakure. The Village Hidden in the Chaos. It was once a feared village were powerful shinobi lived.
Kankuro- Thinking about visiting this Kontongakure?
Gaara- I would. If only it didn't disappear mysteriously.
Kankuro- It disappeared?
Temari came walking into the room. She was eating a bowl of ramen.
Temari- What disappeared?
Gaara- The Village Hidden in the Chaos.
Temari- I remember stories about that village. It was said that three siblings were born and were feared because of their powers. the youngest, Yuurei, she was a clairvoyant that could see into the past, present, and future. She also had the power to control the ghost of any dead person and use their chakra and jutsus. Her older brothers were Honegumi and Mokushi. Honegumi is the middle child and his powers were to manipulate a person's skeletal structure. Even his own. He could also raise the dead. And the eldest child was Mokushi. He was the most feared of them all.
Kankuro- And what were his powers?
Gaara was sitting quietly, listening carefully. These siblings were just like him. Freaks and monsters.
Temari- Mokushi could control shadows and darkness. His specialty was black fire straight from Hell. If you made him angry he could send you into and endless abyss and you would never return. Or he just sent you there for fun.
Kankuro- Sounds like a myth to me. A stupid legend.
Gaara- This is interesting.
Temari- Oh! And Yuurei's voice was like the icy wind in the dead of winter. Or so some say.
Kankuro- Its just a bunch of stories that parents tell their kids. Like the Village Hidden in the Chaos really existed. Hah!
Gaara and Temari ignored his remark.
Gaara- Tell me more.
Temari- Well, that's just about all there is to know. Except that it is said that they are locked in a cave near Sunagakure. And that they remain there to this day.
Kankuro- Then let's visit this cave and see if the freaks are really there.
Gaara and Temari glared at him. Kankuro was such a skeptic. He started to walk around the room making fake ghost wails and such. Temari smacked him over the head.
Kankuro- OW!!!
Temari- Serves you right. So, Gaara, do you want to go visit this cave?
Gaara nodded his head in response.
