The Break up Edward p.o.v

I'm so tired of Forks. I guess that it is a different place to live, because its raining; but that doesn't make it a GREAT place to live. Everything is always so boring here. I was in math drifting in my thoughts. Its not like math is that great.
"Dude, ?"I blinked. My friend Emmet's hand was waving in front of my face.
"Oh, yeah?"
"You sound like your brain was somewhere else. Were you thinking about your oh so mysterious girlfriend?" He said wiggiling his eyebrows. "Okay, i know what that means and she WAS my bestfriend years agobefore she moved and i'm going to break up with my snotty little 'girlfriend'". I put air quotes around girlfriend if you could call her that anymore.
"Dude, why? I thought you liked her."
"Man, i did until i caught her sucking face with Mike, I mean really? Jessica used to be smart and nice. Now all she thinks about is her popularity. And i can't stand her."We talked about this walking down the hallway to our lockers.
"Well you should... but get your mind off of that other girl how long ago has she been gone... what 5 years?"
"9 years" I mumbled.
"You need some change, I mean all you do is think about her" I was about to say something but Emmet cut me off "I know,
I know she was your bestfriend and that you cant forget but what if she doesn't come back or find a way to contact you?
Come on man."
"Oh yes wise one" He glared at me "Sorry, I know that your right" I looked at the floor, I missed Bella a lot. I mean we were inseperble best friends so I can't just forget her.
"Good now go break up with your 'girlfriend' so we can get the hell out of here!" We were at our lockers getting our stuff to leave.
"Speak of the devil" Emmet mumbled. Really he was right there's Jessica skipping towards us - well me.
"Eddie-kins there you are!" what is she talking, about she knew i would be here. She kissed my cheek. Oh lord help me!
"Umm.. Jessica," I looked to find Emmet had gone, great! "I think it would be great if you i broke up."
"Why?! What did i do?" Did she seriously just ask that question?
"I saw you sucking face with Mike, Jessica." She looked shocked that i saw that, but recovered.
"Eddie, he forced himself upon me."
"Yeah, i'm so sure he had himself backed into a wall and put your legs around his waist. Bye, Jessica we are through." I waved behind me; I was already walking away.
"But Eddie......"
"If you lay a hand on me or call me Eddie again, I will get a restraing order on you" I yelled behind me. I walked outside to find Emmet talking to Rosalie, he liked big time. Well now's a good time to make fun of that.
"Yo Romeo. for where art thou car we must gettith home." He looked shoced then tured a nice shade of red:mission acomplished.
I walked over to them. "Sorry Rosalie, I just couldnt resist" I burst out laughing. Emmet smacked me in the back of the head.
Now he was the one laughing. But i think Rosalie enjoyed the show she was laughing a lot.
"Ow, sorry! Gahhh!"
"Later Rosalie" He kissed her hand. She laughed and said "Later Romeo".
We got in the car. And he started to drive to my house(my volvo was in the shop).
"Dude you will pay i was just about to ask her out" He was MAD. :note to self do not make Emmet without excuse.:
"I'm sorry" He glared at me "I really am. I had just broken up with Jessica and she was coming after me!"
That sure changed him. "Oh thats all you had to say. What is she super stalker. We should get her a cape."
I laughed a little.
"Thats good but this is a serious issue."
He burst out laughing.
"Thats it i'm getting out we're at my house any way" I jumped down from his jeep.
"Later man" he said still laughing and drove away then i went inside.
