note : spoilers to soul society arc, title and lyrics from lifehouse, and also, i don't own bleach (83 words for each part)
Walking Away
She couldn't stop herself from giving him one last look over her shoulder, even as she knew that her heart would shatter at the sight of his broken and bleeding form lying there in the rain-drenched streets.
His chocolate eyes were intense and fierce but seemed to beg her to look at him. But she couldn't bring herself to do so. She knew that she couldn't force herself to leave him there if she did.
So she just turned and walked away.
Hey, remember me? I remember you, walking away...
Ichigo looked down at the tiny Death God and something inside him raged at the sight of her in this state. There was an air about her now, clad in plain white robes, her hands tied and her powers bound by the collar around her neck, that made her seem so broken.
Her huge disbelieving eyes clung to him but he just couldn't bring himself to meet them. He knew he would snap if he did.
So he just turned and walked away.

any guesses as to where these two scenes are from? come on, guess! i don't quite know the exact episode/chapter myself but these two scenes hit me somewhere deep. i loved them! ;)
